Competition. What Competition?

Constantly spending time and energy comparing yourself to the “competition” serves no purpose. In fact it can have a negative effect on your holiday rental business. We’ve all experienced it – that familiar sinking feeling that drains you of energy and side tracks you, wasting valuable business building time.

So stop comparing yourself right now! Instead focus your time and positive energy on your business and only your business.

Who is the competition anyway? Even if it’s an identical apartment in identical block, it’s still different to what you’re offering. Your holiday rental has you at its helm and that makes your offering unique. How you market it on your website and on social media; how you respond to guest enquiries and the extra touches that you provide are unique. So therefore you have no “competition”!

By all means take a peak at what other holiday rentals around you are doing but only out of curiosity to learn and move your business onwards and upwards.
