Holiday Rentals - Time To Reveal Yourself

Time to reveal yourself

As a holiday home owner it’s very easy to hide behind your computer and talk consistently about your holiday home and your holiday home’s location. There’s nothing wrong with that but don’t forget the old adage that ‘people buy from people’. You have to stop hiding, come out from behind your computer to allow guests and future guests to get to know you – helping to speed up the booking process.

Here are some visibility tips.
1. Social media profile images – use a pic of you rather than a pic of your holiday home or your logo
2. Sign off your social media posts with your name just like you would in an email or a note.
3. Have pictures of you taken at your holiday rental to use on your website and on social media. In particular use these on the about section – and make this section personal so people get to know the real you.
4. Use video in your marketing – be brave. Talk to the camera; share stories about your local area, give guests a video tour of each room with you talking about why you (as a person not as an owner) like spending time in this room/location.

Time to reveal yourself!
