Hello everyone,

I thought that I would share some of the tools that I use on a daily basis that really help (speed up ) my work processes.

1. WordPress

I still can’t get enough WordPress. The latest releases have been tip top and the vast array of plugins is mind blowing (plugins add functionallity, both front of house and behind the scenes).

I just installed a scheduling calendar plugin which is just great for organising this blog and shows at a glance what’s going to be published and when.

At the end of the day WordPress puts serious owners in complete control of all aspects of their marketing headquarters (the hub).

2. Canva

We live in an image hungry world and Canva feeds that hunger (easily).

Just visit canva.com and away you go.
You will be creating breathtaking images (with or without text overlays), infographics, welcome notes for guests, checklists for housekeepers, birthday cards for existing clients, social media content and more.

Top tip
Spend some time on Youtube watching Canva tutorials – This is time well spent.

3. Picmonkey

Similar to Canva (it’s free to use too) I don’t use Picmonkey as much but I use it all the time to resize my images and to crop them too.

Top tip
I also rename my images when saving them via Picmonkey. Save your images and utilise your best keyword targets.
Straight out of the camera you will get a photo name like 2015-04-09_10-07-39_HDR.jpg – Far better to rename it Florida vacation rental with pool (If that’s what you are showing).

Just to recap, I resize, crop where necessary and rename photos in Picmonkey, then I head over to Canva to add overlays, etc.
