Villa Rental Marketing – It’s Not All About The Big Boys

I came across a good looking site that is visually different to the myriad of lookalike listings sites out there and for that reason alone I thought it merited a special mention.

Close to my heart

I spent my first 5 years in the villa rental business behind various computers hand coding websites (and promoting those sites).
I spent that time creating websites that stood out from the crowd. I personally wanted my listings sites to look different to the other listings sites of the time.
I saw a lot of value in that and I still do. People actually used to write to me saying how good the site looked <still proud>.
Anyway, I’m telling you this because I just came across a website that looks a little different to the same old same old listings majority and so I thought I would bring it to your attention too.
I don’t know the guys and girls at Rentivo but their “Pinterest(ish)” format caught my eye.

Eye candy and we like it.

Free for life

Their FREE for life button caught our attention too.

We like websites that commit to owners and you can’t get more of a commitment than one for life.

  1. You mentioned Rentivo, Alan, so I had a look but it really isn’t at all clear whether the payment has to go through their system or whether you can take payment directly from guests. I’m not particularly keen on sites that don’t make things clear. Why do I have the feeling that they’ve got something to hide?

      Hi there,

I admit that it’s not entirely clear but it does say free – for life. https://www.rentivo.com/how-it-works/property-owner#free-for-life
But bolt on extras are $5 per month.
I will contact them and try to clarify what’s what

      Regards Alan
