Vacation Rental Marketing and Pinterest – Update

Pinterest – You are either using it to promote your vacation rental property, or you’re not.

Around this time last year we wrote 3 articles about using Pinterest to promote your vacation rental property.

The first was called raising interest with Pinterest, the second was called nailing more bookings with Pinterest and the third dealt with vacation rental marketing, Pinterest and video.
If you didn’t read them at the time you may want to read them now. Even if you read them then you may want a recap.

Especially after reading the rest of this article.
A lot has happened, regarding Pinterest,  in the last 12 or so months since we wrote those articles and we thought we should bring you up to speed with a few facts and figures.

1. Pinterest – The facts

1. Men are from Google +, Women are from Pinterest – over 90% of users are women.

  1. Here is our Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/vacationontybee/

We try to highlight our homes, guest photos, area attractions (food, events, places). We also have a few “fun” boards, like our Pirate board (to promote Tybee’s annual Pirate Festival), a Beach Wear board, and one dedicated to the color Pink, our company color 🙂
